100 Years of Women's Suffrage - Global Women's Studies Fall Conference

Join the BYU Global Women's Studies Program at the Annual Fall Conference on November 7-8, 2019 and hear from esteemed researchers, authors, and lecturers such as Bettye Collier-Thomas (History, Temple University), Lynne Ford (College of Charleston), and Lori Schuyler (University of Virginia). The conference will host local experts in current political participation of Utah women: Professor Jessica Preece (BYU Poli Sci) and Nicole Carter of the non-partisan Women's Leadership Institute. Historians Katherine Kitterman and Naomi Watkins from Better Days 2020 will talk about the right to vote that Utah women had 50 years before the rest of the nation!
