Utah was the first place an American woman voted. It's time to tell our story. On February 14, 1870, Seraph Young of Salt Lake City cast the first female vote in the nation. The year 2020 is the 150th anniversary that event and the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment which extended women's voting rights throughout the country.
